FUELS (Faurecia Unites with Employees for Local Service)
Faurecia Unites with Employees for Local Service, or FUELS, is a focused corporate giving initiative. Its goal is to engage employees and support local communities where Faurecia is present in North America.
The Community Food Drive
The cornerstone of the FUELS program is the annual Community Food Drive, which is hosted each September to aid in the fight to end hunger through food donations and volunteerism. Each of Faurecia’s 48 sites throughout North America collects non-perishable food items for a local food bank partner, where employees also spend time volunteering.
In 2015, Faurecia and its employees donated more than 850,000 meals to food banks across North America. Since the food drive began in 2010, Faurecia and its employees have provided more than 4.35 million meals to hungry neighbors in Canada, Mexico and the United States.
